In my post last night, before I had read anyone's response to Sarah Palin's Republican Convention speech, I described a couple of things that really bothered me about the speech. One was the sneering remark about Barack Obama being a "community organizer." This comment hit a nerve with others, too:
- Steve Benen's at Washington Monthly's Political Animal: "In Defense of Community Organizers." Benen provides links to more responses at the end of his post.
- Alan Wolfe, at TNR's The Plank, "Why Sarah Palin's Speech will not Win Over All Evangelicals."
- Blogger Gina Telaroli, "Community Organizing No Laughing Matter."
- Blog dairist trenttsd, a self-proclaimed "dissatisfied Goldwater Republican" and former Ron Paul Supporter, posting at Daily Kos: "A Palin Convert."
